Meet the One Man Band

Every day life soundscapes are immensely interesting to me – busy streets, chirping birds, a distant plane coming in for landing. They instantly transport you to another location and, without words or visuals, tell us its own story. Same goes for sampling, to be able to capture the essence of an instrument and play it anywhere seems like pure magic to me.

Hej! – I'm Joakim, a Swedish software developer, musician, content creator and all-rounder really. As a creator and frequent user of freebies, I wanted to give back to the community. So I started this site, initially to provide royalty-free music for streamers and video content.

Now this has developed into a fully fledge source of sound in general, for indie creators of all trades to use in videos, games, podcasts, or music.
