Student Saxophone
When my son, ten years old at the time, picked up the saxophone at school, I was in awe of how quickly his tone improved. At the same time, I became aware of all the tiny imperfections, the crackeling from air and spit, the natural wow and flutter. This was worth capturing, not just as proof in the future of how far he's come, but because there is such a unique texture in the sound of a student musician blowing into an instrument for the first time – and it's hardly ever captured and made into a virtual instrument.
So I asked him: Do you want to create an instrument with me? Now, one year later, we finally give you the fruits of our labor.

*Round robins aren't supported in Decent Sampler when dealing with legato samples. Instead the samples have been mapped to individual keys to give the illusion of round robins. This is not an issue in the Kontakt version.
